Chorbadzhi Nikula’s majestic house was built about 150 years ago. It is located in the core of the fabulous Zheravna Village, Bulgaria. The village is the best conserved and restored cultural monument on the Balkan Peninsula. It is situated about 100 km to the northwest of the major southern seaport and airport town in Bulgaria - the town of Bourgas. Chorbadzhi Nikula’s house is an evidence of the Late National Revival and is announced a monument of culture and architecture of regional significance. At present, the house is restored and accordingly upholstered in a traditional style, offering its guests year-round accommodation and comfort. Still it is luxuriously equipped and furnished. It disposes of a total of 14 beds – into 4 spacious rooms with bedroom suites and the so-called ‘minderi’ (couches), typical of Zheravna. All of the rooms are suitable for couples or families with 1 or 2 children. Each room has a bathroom (shower and WC) with a hair-drier and ventilation, satellite TV, a mini-bar, a convection heater and a safe-box. Guests also have at their disposal both small and large banquet halls, a lovely yard with a fireplace and a draw-well, as well as a cookhouse. Guests can either order a variety of traditional Bulgarian dishes or cook for themselves. The house also renders a number of additional services (games and amusements) most of them for free. Just next to the house our guests have the chance to rent-a-horse for riding around, and the region offers splendid opportunities for hunting and fishing, walks either in the mountain or along the eco-paths. Guests of the house may get discounts of the regular accommodation rates for package services and a longer period of stay. The place suits mountain, eco, rural and congress tourism; individuals, families or small groups of tourists.
